Overview

Located in the heart of Taguig’s bustling Global City, Miyazaki Gyu offers an authentic Japanese dining experience that blends traditional flavors with a modern atmosphere. Nestled on the podium level of One McKinley Place, this restaurant is a discreet haven for lovers of refined Japanese cuisine, making it a perfect spot for intimate gatherings, family meals, or casual meet-ups with friends.

The highlight of Miyazaki Gyu’s menu is undoubtedly their masterfully prepared beef dishes. Their Sukiyaki and Wagyu Sirloin Sukiyaki capture the essence of Japanese comfort food, featuring tender, richly marbled cuts cooked right at your table, inviting diners to savor each bite slowly. Their Yakiniku Platter is a great alternative for those who prefer grilled flavors, showcasing quality beef that strikes a balance between succulence and smoky char.

Beyond beef, Miyazaki Gyu shines with its fresh sushi selections. The Tuna, Salmon, and Kaisen Masu Sushi make an impressive trio, characterized by vibrant, fresh seafood atop perfectly seasoned sushi rice. This freshness extends to their Salmon Sashimi, often praised for its melt-in-the-mouth texture and paired thoughtfully with just the right amount of wasabi, elevating the natural flavors without overpowering them.

On the lighter side or as perfect starters, the Japanese Cold Tofu (Hiya Yakko) and Shrimp Spring Rolls provide delicate yet satisfying flavors that warm your palate. Signature dishes like Takoyaki and the Kaisen Teppan Chahan stand out for their authentic, robust tastes, echoing traditional Japanese street food with quality ingredients and careful preparation.

Complementing the food is a carefully curated selection of beverages, including premium Sapporo draft beers served fresh and chilled—ideal for pairing with their rich dishes and for those looking to unwind over a drink during their visit.

What truly makes Miyazaki Gyu stand out is its ambiance. Customers often highlight the restaurant’s sleek interiors and the soothing Japanese-inspired vibe, a quiet refuge amid the lively streets of BGC. The space accommodates groups comfortably, making it an excellent choice for private meetings or celebrations without sacrificing an intimate dining atmosphere. Service is noted for being attentive and welcoming, reinforcing the overall dining experience with genuine hospitality.

Miyazaki Gyu attracts a diverse clientele—from Japanese cuisine enthusiasts to families seeking a cozy yet refined setting, and even casual diners looking for a hidden gem in Metro Manila’s culinary map. Its location, slightly tucked away between familiar landmarks, adds to its charm as a discovered treasure offering authentic tastes and memorable moments.

For those looking to indulge in heartfelt Japanese dishes crafted with care and served in a relaxed yet elegant space, Miyazaki Gyu is highly recommended. Whether you crave the warm comfort of sukiyaki, the fresh burst of sushi, or the satisfying crunch of tempura, this restaurant delivers quality and atmosphere in equal measure.

A hidden gem in BGC! The Kaisen Teppan Chahan and Takoyaki were bursting with flavor—super authentic. Loved the laid-back vibe of the Japanese food hall. Also, the 50% off Happy Hour drinks from 2–5 PM is such a great deal!

The foods taste great. I like their Ebi Miso Ramen Wadachi though the broth is rich but a bit salty (hope they can adjust the saltiness). The thickness of the broth is comparable to Mendokoro’s. The Salmon Sashimi tastes fresh and the wasabi compliments well. The Yakitori Torigin is rich in flavor and is my personal favorite. The Ebi in mix tempura is served big and the crunchiness is retained. Going to the place is pretty easy. Ride the BGC bus and alight at the bus stop near Fort Strip or FIVE/NEO. Walk towards the direction of FIVE/NEO then you will see Lawson and 711 on the left side of the street. The food hall is in between of both convenient stores The staffs are very accommodating and nice. The place is on the quiet side of BGC so it’s a little bit cozy.

Tucked away between 711 and Lawson along 26th st and 3rd, this hidden gem of an authentic Japanese cuisine resto surprised my son and I. Their menu is all of our fav Japanese fare - sukiyaki, sashimi, sushi, STEAK(!!), and all the regular fav Japanese cuisine Filipinos are used to. We had to ask several guards around the area to find the place. Will bring family and friends. Wait staff very friendly and gave good suggestions. Ah well - Izakaya Geronimo's loss - Miyazaki Gyu's gain! Happy Japanese food fan here !! P.S. and oh I forgot to mention, dinner fare came with cloth napkins!
